Summer Camp at Rock Spring is a wonderful opportunity for preschool children of all ages to play together in a child-directed unstructured environment. We hold summer camp in a one-week session immediately following the end of the school year. The grassy area of the campus is transformed into a maze of exploration stations, from colored ice, shaving cream, and water toys, to other messy fun. Quiet areas are also provided indoors and out.
The camp runs the week after school ends, Monday through Friday, 9:15 a.m.-12 p.m.
The Summer Camp program is run by Rock Spring teachers with the assistance of parent co-opers. Camp is for Rock Spring students who attended the preschool during the school year.
"Stay & Play" is an extra hour of free-play and fun at Rock Spring! Our students play outdoors, with sensory tables, and other manipulatives from 12:00PM-1:00PM.
"Stay & Play" is open to students who are potty-trained and 3 years old. In addition, 2-year-olds who are potty-trained may also be able to participate depending on enrollment numbers.
