ADMISSIONS

2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR ADMISSIONS TIMELINE:

• NOVEMBER 4 - Applications available on website
  
• JANUARY 31 and FEBRUARY 1 - In-person Open Houses 9:30am-11:30am.
  
• FEBRUARY 22 - Applications due
  
• FEBRUARY 23 - Enrollment lottery conducted
  
• FEBRUARY 26 - Families begin being notified of admission status
  
• MID MARCH - All families notified of admission/waitlist positions
  
• ​Ongoing after March - Applications are accepted for open spots and waitlists
  

RSCP admits preschool-aged children from 18 months to five years of age, regardless of race, color, creed, or religion, or national or ethnic origin. Children must meet the stated minimum age requirements by September 30th. Parents are also asked to consider their child’s personality and developmental stage when considering the appropriate age to begin a preschool program.

Enrollment is extended based on the following priority:

• Children of current members and staff
  
• Children of prior members–alumni and staff
  
• Children of members of the Rock Spring Congregational United Church of Christ
  
• All others who submit applications for membership​

2024-2025 Enrollment

Applications will be accepted for the 2024-2025 school year starting in November 2023. Applicants who have submitted applications and paid applicable fees will be entered into a lottery in mid-February 2024 and, if not offered a spot, notified of their waitlist position in early to mid-March.

A number of other overriding factors, such as gender balance and age mix, will be considered as openings are filled and final class placement decisions are made by the staff. To be considered for the lottery, please submit an application between November 2023, and February 22nd, 2024. 

Any applications received after this date will be added to our waitlist on a first-come-first-served basis unless spots remain in the class.
