2010 - 2011 Open House Information
Due to school closings, the Open House for Friday, Feb 5th has been rescheduled for Friday, February 19th, from 9:30am until noon.
Rock Spring Cooperative Preschool is holding its Open House on Thursday, February 4th and Friday, February 5th from 9:30am until 12pm. Guided tours will be held during which we will be happy to answer any questions you have about our program. If you are interested in attending our Open House please send an email to memberchair@rockspringpreschool.org indicating which day you will be joining us. Please note that child care will not be provided.
2010 - 2011 Application Information
If you would like to apply for the 2010-2011 school year please download an application and submit it, plus a $20 application fee, to the school. Applications are due no later than Friday, February 26th at noon. Information about our program and how to apply can be found in the “Applying” section of this website. About Rock Spring Cooperative Preschool
Founded in 1943 by a group of caring and inventive mothers, Rock Spring is the oldest cooperative preschool in Arlington. We offer age-specific classes for one- to five-year-olds, as well as an Extended Day Program and Summer Camp.
Our learning-through-play philosophy provides a stimulating environment for development and growth with an emphasis on nurturing each child’s individuality, self-esteem, and joy in learning. We believe the preschool child’s intellectual, social, and emotional growth is best fostered through active play guided by qualified teachers.
As a member of our cooperative preschool, parents have an unparalleled opportunity to observe, support, and guide their children’s growth. Parents also share the day-to-day responsibilities of running and managing the school.
