Stay & Play

Stay & Play is an extra hour of free-play and fun at Rock Spring! During Stay & Play, the children play indoors and outdoors, with sensory tables, art supplies, and other manipulatives under the caring supervision of a classroom teacher.

Stay & Play is open to students who are potty-trained and 3 years old. In addition, 2-year-olds who are potty-trained may also be able to participate depending on enrollment numbers.

Monday Play Day

Monday Play Day offers students a relaxed, optional opportunity to spend extra time at school with a trusted teacher—perfect for families needing occasional care or kids who want more social play and supervised exploration. Held each Monday, this drop-in program features free play, guided activities, and quiet wind-down time in a familiar classroom environment. It runs 9:15 am to noon.

Summer Camp

Summer Camp at Rock Spring is a wonderful opportunity for preschool children of all ages to play together in a child-directed unstructured environment. The grassy area of the campus is transformed into a maze of exploration stations, from colored ice, shaving cream, and water toys, to other messy fun. Quiet areas are also provided indoors and out.

The camp is one week long and runs the week after school ends, Monday through Friday, 9:15 a.m.-noon.

The camp is run by Rock Spring teachers with the assistance of parent co-opers. Camp is for Rock Spring students who attended the preschool during the school year.
