Application timeline.

  • Step 1

    Applications for the 2026-2027 year open mid-November and due February 5.

    If you have more than one child, please submit a separate application for each prospective student.

    A non-refundable Application Fee of $45 per child for new students is due at the time the application is submitted. For your application to be complete, you MUST submit the online application AND the per-child application fee. 

  • Step 2

    Application lottery takes place early February.

    Application priority is given to current members, siblings, alumni members, and Rock Spring Congregational Church members. In the listed order, these applicants are given first priority for enrollment. Parent/guardian preference is considered when determining the best program for each student, but please note that final offers for class placement are at the discretion of the RSCP Director and Staff based on child readiness, overall class balancing, and program availability.

  • Step 3

    Families are notified of admission status mid-February.

    Once offers are made, families are given time to review their offer and notify RSCP of their acceptance. Applications received after classes have been filled will be added to the end of the appropriate waitlist. All waitlisted applications will be kept on file for the duration of the school year in the event an opening occurs throughout the year. If openings occur mid-year, a number of other overriding factors, such as gender balance and age mix for a class, may be considered as spots are filled. 

  • Step 4

    Deposits and contracts are submitted once families accept an offer.

    February/March - Contract documents and deposits due.

    May - Registration process begins for incoming co-opers and students.

    Summer - Class playdates and community events.
