Costs

The fees for the 2010/2011 school year are as follows:

Monthly Preschool Tuition

Tuition is calculated based on the number of days per week your child attends school, and the total number of students per class. Tuition is due the first day of the month, and can be pre-paid for all or part of the year. A one month pre-paid tuition payment is required during the spring when contracts are signed for the following school year. This pre-payment is applied to the following year’s May tuition. The current tuition costs per class are as indicated:

  • Polar Bears (1-2 year olds/6 students/class): $204/month
  • Panda Bears (1-2 year olds/6 students/class): $204/month
  • Bunnies (2-3 year olds/8 students/class): $161/month
  • Beavers (2-3 year olds/8 students/class): $231/month
  • Ponies (3-4 year olds/9 students/class): $224/month
  • Penguins (3-4 year olds/9 students/class): $224/month
  • Dinosaurs (4-5 year olds/18 students/class): $357/month

Partial or full scholarships are awarded each year from the Janet Taylor Memorial Fund which was established in May 1972 in memory of a former Rock Spring Cooperative Preschool teacher. Inquiries should be made to the Treasurer or Membership Commitee. Requests are kept confidential.

Extended Day Program

There are three Extended Day sessions held throughout the school year during the Fall, Winter, and Spring. The program is offered at least three days per week, although additional days may be added based on parent interest and teacher availability. Students bring their own lunch from home. The costs for the 2009/2010 year are listed below:

  • Pre-registered students: $7/day
  • Drop-in students: $9/day

Summer Camp Program

For information on Summer Camp programs, please call the school office. Programs are offered based on availability and interest, and priority and cost are determined at the time of announcement.

Application & Enrollment Costs

Prospective members pay a $15 application fee each time an enrollment request is submitted. This fee is per child and non-refundable. Returning members pay a $30 fee each year (per child) at the time registration forms are submitted.
