As with any school, there are also activities for the students and their parents, and sometimes entire families, at the start of and throughout the year. The goal of these events is to provide the children with exposure to Rock Spring prior to the start of school, in addition to developing solid relationships with teachers and classmates. These special activities are detailed at the start of the school year on the school calendar and in the monthly newsletters.
